Well, Bowl me over!!!

Okay, I was pretty much blown away by the Bloch Bowl-a-rama this past Sunday afternoon at Fantasy Springs!! It was so fantastic to walk in and see the bowling alley filled with people. Wow. Not to mention the bowling but it was a great birthday celebration as well. I sure had fun signing the bowling pin trophies and talking with people that came that afternoon. I don't know how to say thank you to everyone individually in a meaninful enough way. All I can say to the many people who co-labored to make this happen is that I am truly blessed and thank you all so very much.
It sure seemed like everyone was having way too much fun and with everything going on from the chozen girls bake sale, to birthday cake to bumperbowling with kids it was a blast. I know that there are many God stories from this day and I encourage you to share them by posting them on the blog so that others can read it. You can do this by posting a comment at the bottom of this entry on the site. One of the really cool things that happened was that my friend Toni, who was one of a group of us that got our Master's Degree together, came up to me in the middle of the bowling alley and I remembered her face but not her name. When she reminded me of her name and how we went through classes together at Chapman it was a great surprise to see her! Anyway she was really encouraging and then shared some things with me and I asked her if I could pray for her right there in the bowling alley. For me, that was the highlight, just praying for Toni in the bowling alley. It was the ultimate.
So, I invite you to share your stories of how God has moved in this for you, so that it may encourage others as you've encouraged me.
Bless you!
Julie

I am praying for you. Heavenly Father, I have seen Julie at church, I have seen how much she impacts worship. I am asking for a complete healing so that she can continue Your work here. Amen.
